The talk portion will include several specific jobs/focus areas to consider, apart from working at EA orgs and doing earning to give. Some of these ideas include: getting ML expertise, getting bioengineering expertise, getting experience in US policy, working in US intelligence and defense agencies, working on developing alternatives to animal products, starting more GiveWell top charities, and a couple of other specific ideas. I'll discuss how I'm generating this list and what kind of woldviews/views about cause prioritization might lead one to be more excited about some rather than others.
